This fact sheet is for Indian residential school survivors who want to know what their options are under the Indian Residential Schools Settlement Agreement. The fact sheet explains who’s covered by the agreement and includes information on how to make an Independent Assessment Process application, and has been revised to let survivors know what their options are now that the Common Experience Payment application deadline has passed. The fact sheet also includes information on who can help with settlement agreement claims, including how to get legal help and emotional support.
